Not sure where to start?

Tell Us What You're Looking For

That's completely normal — most people who reach out aren't sure which therapist is the right fit yet. Share a little about what's going on, and we'll point you toward a therapist whose focus matches what you need.

Your information is kept confidential and only used to help you find the right fit.

Counselling Built Around Fit, Not a Waiting List

Every therapist here is registered with their professional college and holds a graduate-level credential — RP, MSW, or RSW. Because each therapist runs their own practice, you're not assigned to whoever's next available; you're matched to whoever actually works with what you're dealing with. Sessions are confidential, and many therapists here work from a trauma-informed approach, available online or in person. Every session comes with a receipt, so you can submit it to your extended health plan.

Licensed and registered. Every therapist holds RP, MSW, or RSW registration through their professional college.

Trauma-informed, at your pace. No one is pushed to share more than they're ready to.

Inclusive and affirming. We welcome clients of all identities, backgrounds, and relationship structures.

Online or in person. Secure video sessions from anywhere in Ontario, or in-person at our St. Agatha office.

A receipt for every session. Suitable for extended health plan reimbursement, whatever your plan covers.

Flexible scheduling. Evening appointments available with several therapists.

How to Start

There's no single "right" way to begin — most people do one of these two things.

If you already know what you're looking for, reach out to a specific therapist directly from their profile, or book a consultation and we'll connect you. If you're not sure yet, answer a few short questions in our matching form — you'll see who we recommend before you're asked for any contact information.

Therapists Who Bring Real Focus, Not a Generic Practice

Every therapist at Southern Ontario Counselling runs their own practice — which means the person you see is genuinely focused on what you're dealing with, not assigned by availability alone.

Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

All are welcome here.

Straightforward Fees, No Surprises

Individual sessions start at $140. Because each therapist runs their own practice, rates vary slightly — you'll always know the exact fee before you book. We don't offer direct billing, but we provide a receipt for every session so you can submit it to your extended health plan.
